Student Kills Teacher in
Florida Shooting
The last day of classes at a Florida middle school ended in
tragedy Friday, when a student shot and killed a teacher.
The shooting occurred at Lake Worth Middle School in
Lake Worth, Fla., a community just north of West Palm Beach, as classes
were ending.
A 17-year-old girl and another 16-year-old student were
arrested at a Central Florida high school after a teacher was knocked
unconscious and another poisoned on the same day, according to Local 6
News.

Robert Gomez, a 13-year-old boy attending Liberty Middle
School, has been suspended for 10 days for allegedly
threatening his science teacher with a rubber band. Gomez says he
only tossed the rubber band on the teacher’s desk when she demanded it
to be removed from his wrist. The school, according to Gomez’ mother,
claims that if he aimed it more, Gomez would have hit the teacher directly
in the eye.
